Trevor Kennedy joined Andersen Law PC as a contract law clerk in August 2024. He provides essential support to our attorneys through research, legal drafting and behind-the-scenes work that helps ensure clients are well-represented. Trevor takes pride in contributing to the success of our attorneys and the clients we serve.
“My job is to help put our attorneys in the best position to help our clients achieve their goals,” he says.
Trevor is a graduate of the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He began his family law career in Nevada in 2022, where he taught guardianship classes to the public. Trevor is also trained in mediation, having completed a 40-hour course and gaining practical experience mediating divorce and child custody cases during law school, supervised by attorneys. He is passionate about this aspect of family law and looks forward to incorporating it further into his career.
A highlight in Trevor’s career so far was externing for Judge Mary Perry at the Family Division of the 8th Judicial District Court in Las Vegas. This opportunity provided him with invaluable insight into family law and helped shape his approach to legal practice. He also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his top performance in his negotiations class. Trevor is proud to have the skills to work with opposing parties and their attorneys to help achieve the best outcome for his own clients.
Clients appreciate Trevor’s thoughtful approach, his willingness to listen, and his ability to address their concerns. He takes pride in being a friendly and approachable point of contact, making sure that clients feel supported throughout the legal process.
“I absolutely love family law because it is so rewarding seeing the tangible positive impact you can make on the lives of parents and their children,” Trevor says. “I constantly remind myself that my ‘why’ for working in family law is to help make people’s lives better and meet them where they are at. I want to help put them in a better position than when they first came into our office. That’s what really drives my effort in the legal profession.”
Originally from Riverside, California, Trevor earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Kentucky before moving to Nevada for law school. He recently moved to Littleton to be with his fiancée. In his free time, Trevor enjoys baseball. He previously worked as a scout for the Atlanta Braves and held various roles in other baseball organizations.
